Our client is looking for an Assistant Stores person to work Monday - Friday. The ideal applicant will have experience of working in a plant or transport-related office environment.
You will be a good communicator with basic IT skills and the ability to multi task.
The role involves:
Managing the store's counter.
Helping with goods received and dispatched.
Restocking shelves. Parceling goods for dispatch.
Top-up site containers.
Logging goods received on the system.
Checking despatch and delivery notes.
General housekeeping of the stores areas to ensure efficient and tidy.
Management and processing of documentation between workshops, stores and office.
General office duties and assist with production and management of machine documentation to include production of manuals. Assist with the inspection and certification of lifting equipment .
