Temporary contract with a good chance of a permanent role
37 hours per week
£13.26 Per hour
Will be DBS checked.
Ideally will be on the Update Service
Our Rugby based secondary school is seeking a capable, sensible individual to maintain the school buildings and grounds.
Main tasks will be:
- General maintenance of the school buildings and grounds
- Manage small DIY tasks - decorating, plumbing, repairs, cleaning
- Ensure Health and Safety issues are addressed
- Maintenance of school minibuses
- Maintain the grounds making sure they are litter free
Person Spec
- Grade C at GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
- Experience in facilities or caretaking
- Practical experience of undertaking a range of semi-skilled maintenance duties
- Working knowledge of health and Safety procedures
- Good problem solving skills
- The ability to work as a team
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible attitude
Ideally have some knowledge of school policies, including Child Protection, Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities
