The Assistant Brand Manager, working alongside the Brand Manager, is to act as the primary point of contact to maintain and manage the tools and materials that support the overall brand positioning, across all campaigns and other key initiatives.
You will co-create tactical below the line communications & be pivotal of the delivery of branded national integrated campaigns. Accountable for timely communication to internal key stakeholders (Sales/Category/Customer Service/Activation) of annual communication plan which is aligned with business KPI’s.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
·Support with Co-creation and implementation of integrated National brand campaigns
·Responsible for all internal communications via in pack, signatures, intra-net etc
·Manage Customer Service relationships and support with brand and product knowledge training
·Ownership of the communication of the activity plan (Laydown) on a monthly basis
·Support team in preparation/present the brand campaigns at Internal meetings
·Brand guardian of the DBU brand bible embedding it within the business
·Liaise cross functionally, where required, to deploy brand campaigns
·Support Brand Manager in engaging creative agencies to implement initiatives based on shopper insight
·Invoice Management and timely tracking of budget tracker
Good communication skills

Must hold a UK driving license
QUALIFICATIONS and Experience
Have 1+ years or proven experience of working in a marketing brand team (FMCG/retail)
Have Knowledge of the marketing mix with the willingness to learn, adapt and develop within a fast paced marketing environment
Excellent verbal and written skills with strong attention to detail
Strong decision making skills - able to make decisions and solve problems using own initiative
Copywriting skills would be beneficial.
