The Assistant Activation Manager, working alongside the Senior Activation manager (SAM), will assist in the development and execution of an aligned shopper marketing plan with key channels and accounts.
You will support the SAM by producing materials which build our relationship to influence with trade contacts and external agencies. You will also work with internal contacts (Sales/Category) to fully align our plans and ensure delivery of business KPIs and work with the Brand teams to ensure brand messages are communicated with specific call to actions agreed by SAM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Proactively manage specific accounts within the Specialist Channel, in collaboration with Sales. Which includes, all day to day activation and communication, trade presentations (external), trade shows and customer planning teams when appropriate.
·Support the SAM with the execution and implementation of the in store shopper activity
·Create, develop and circulate trade presenters suitable for both internal and external audiences
·Liaise cross functionally, where required, to land in store shopper activity
·Engage Retailer media agencies and creative agencies to implement initiatives based on shopper insight
·Invoice Management and timely tracking of budget tracker
·Create and document all campaigns with full ROI evaluation in accounts within the SP channel, sharing learnings with wider team
·Regular retailer store visits to ensure activity has landed correctly, to track competitor activity and to understand shopper behaviour within the key channel and key accounts. Feedback on a timely basis
Ensure shopper activity laydown is up to date with all tasks and deadlines
Good communication skills
Ability to manage projects and take internal customers with you i.e. effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan and prioritise multiple projects and demanding deadlines
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Must hold a UK driving license
