Local entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to win £500 to invest in their business idea, thanks to a ‘Dragons Den’ competition facilitated by The Caraires Recruitment Consultancy.
The Rugby-based independent recruiter is running a ‘Dragons Den’ event on the evening of Thursday 14th March, where local entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their business initiative to five successful industry leaders, with the potential to walk away with £500 to invest in their idea. This event will have an audience (free admission) and the ‘dragons’ will be five Caraires clients who are passionate and meticulous leaders, each from very different industries. The competition is open to any individual or team of any age.
Anybody interested in applying for the competition should contact Ethan to receive their ‘pitch pack’: ethan@caraires.co.uk or 01788 298040.
This event is part of a month-long project for the company which is all about engaging with the local area. Nicola Carrouché, one of the directors of Caraires, said: “This is all about spreading our family values into the local community and having fun. Last year we interviewed a number of candidates who had some great business ideas but did not want to ’risk’ their own money to ‘bring them to life’ – we hope this opportunity can make a real difference to a local entrepreneur.”
Other activities the Caraires team will be running include a half-term family fun afternoon and a number of visits to local care homes, supported by a number of clients. Corky, the bright red pig who was recently appointed as the Caraires mascot, will also be running in the famous pancake race in Rugby in March!
