Permanent opportunities

For Candidates seeking a new permanent role

Finding the right role doesn't just change your life - it can positively impact the lives of those around you. At Caraires, we feel genuinely privileged to be chosen as your recruitment partner and are committed to helping you take the next confident step in your career.

When you register with us, you'll be offered a face-to-face appointment with a qualified recruitment specialist - a Caraires family member - who will take the time to truly understand what you're looking for in your next role and employer.

  • Free CV and covering letter advice
  • Interview preparation, including guidance for competency-based interviews
  • Resignation support and insight into handling counteroffers

Over 80% of the candidates we meet aren't leaving because they lack ability - it's because they no longer feel challenged, inspired, or aligned with their current company's culture. That's why we use three key criteria to help find your next role:

Job Fit

We'll walk you through a detailed job specification and ensure your skills, experience, and competencies are a strong match. We'll also clearly explain the training and development opportunities available.

Team Fit

We consider your working style, management preferences, and personality to match you with a team where you'll feel supported and thrive. We visit every client we represent, so we can describe the working environment first-hand.

Culture Fit

Long-term success comes from shared values. We'll take time to understand what's important to you and ensure that your next employer's culture reflects that.

The Interview Process

Before you meet any employer, we'll ensure you feel confident and prepared. You'll know the interview style, what to expect, and any assessments involved. Free one-to-one coaching is available throughout the process.

Temporary / contract opportunities

For Candidates seeking temporary opportunities

Working on a temporary contract through Caraires means joining a recruitment consultancy that truly values partnership. We treat our candidates and clients with equal respect, offering honest guidance, practical support, and clear communication every step of the way.

At Caraires, honesty isn't just a word - it's a core value. From your first conversation with a member of the Caraires family, you'll experience a recruitment process built on trust, transparency, and genuine care. We provide personalised CV advice, interview coaching, and continuous feedback - both to you and on your behalf.

We take the time to meet with you in person, so we can understand your skills, values, and ideal team and company culture. We only work with organisations we've visited ourselves, allowing us to offer honest insight into each working environment. Quite simply, we would never place you somewhere we wouldn't be happy working ourselves.

All Caraires temporary workers receive:

  • A Contract for Services and an Assignment Form detailing your working hours, required skills and experience, and hourly pay rate
  • Competitive pay, with encouragement to our clients to match the pay of their own employees from day one - this becomes a legal requirement after 12 weeks on assignment
  • Holiday pay, accrued from your first day, with a clear and transparent process to claim it
  • Weekly pay, accurately processed and paid every Friday, with payslips emailed (or posted, if preferred) every Thursday
  • Ongoing access to permanent opportunities, if a long-term role is your ultimate goal

With Caraires, you're not just filling a gap - you're making a meaningful step in your career with a team that's behind you all the way.

Feedback is a gift

After your interview, we'll check in to gather your feedback, confirm your interest, and answer any questions you may have. We'll never pressure you into accepting a role if you're unsure—it's important to us that you feel confident in your decisions. We also obtain detailed feedback from our clients and share it openly with you. If you're not successful, we'll explain why and help you understand how to improve for future opportunities. And when you do receive an offer, we'll celebrate your success together. Our support doesn't end once you start your new role. We'll continue to stay in touch to ensure your transition is smooth and that you feel happy and supported with your new employer. That's what being part of the Caraires family is all about.
